Attic Insulation Installation – Nocatee
A nearby customer in Nocatee recently purchased a home with inadequate attic insulation. I was hired to add more fiberglass insulation and to bring the attic up to the recommended home insulation value of at least R-38.
Blown in insulation is a cost effective way to insulate most attics, however, when I arrived I found that the electricians, who had installed some ceiling lighting, had removed large areas of the blown in insulation in order to do their work. This is a common problem with blown in insulation and can leave areas of the attic un-insulated and leaves the home vulnerable to extreme hot & cold temperature changes.
I carefully put the blown in insulation back in place then added additional batts of R-30 fiberglass insulation.
