Demo Ceramic Tile, Install Drywall & New Shower Door – St. Johns
I was asked to assist with this bathroom remodel in Saint Johns. The homeowner attempted to demo the old tile, concrete and wire lathe on the walls and ceiling but it was too big a job for him. I needed to use a rotary hammer to demo the wall & ceiling down to the studs. I then installed moisture resistant drywall and taped the joints with fast drying plaster to speed up the process. I also needed to duplicate the sand texture on the ceiling repair & paint the ceiling, install a new LED ceiling light fixture and install a new shower door. A relative of the customer did everything else including installing wallboard & tiling the shower, installing a new toilet & vanity and installing new baseboard.
